when i get to lvl 20, i was wondering if i would be able to join the random arenas and play in there with my pvp character

You can play at any time. There is a starter arena in Ascalon (Prophecies) and the monastery (Factions) and you can go to the battle isles once you get the ship on your map.

You can also create a level 20 PvP-only toon and use any skills and upgrades you have unlocked, assuming you have an open character slot.

yah ik this but i have the ship and random arenas doesnt come up for me but the other stuff does, does it show up once im a lvl 20?

You have to unlock it at the battle isles.

have to win 5 times against the all smiting monks or against the trapper rangers sorry can't remember the name of the place its the start of the battle isle you win 5 times and it unlocks for you there are like 6-7 arenas there if I am not mistaken.

Once you get off the starter island and to Nankeing(?) Center, you should be able to zone out to the docks where you can click on the ship to take you to the Great Temple of Balthazar. From there do the little PVP tutorial quests to take you the Zaishen Challenge. It's a mission area. Do the mission and defeat five teams of that consist of NPCS but will be specific builds and act rather like some players if you ask me. Once you defeat five teams in a row you will have access to the PVP arenas.

...I think if you create a PVP only character it automatically dumps you at the Great Temple of Balthazar. You only have to go through this process one time with one character before it is unlocked for your entire account. It is open to both Factions and Prophecies characters.
